The athletic and intelligent Dan Warchol lead by example on offensive, defensive and special teams. As a sophomore, when called upon, Dan won over his teammates and coaches respect with his dedication, effort and knowledge of the game. During his junior season, Warchol's confidence and experience resulted in more playing time. Dan's senior season demonstrated why he was one on the most versatile football players ever to wear the Blue & White of Attleboro High. His defensive prowess forced opposing teams to direct their offense away of the gifted defensive back, while his offensive productivity helped guide the Bombardiers to a 9-1 record.

In the 1993 season, Warchol was a force on the defensive side of the ball where he recorded 72 tackles (46 unassisted), a team leading five interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and two fumble recoveries, one resulting in a touchdown again North Attleboro on Thanksgiving Day. The 5'8" 150 pound junior was "a student of the game" said head coach Cliff Sherman and "he always faced the other team's best players." As a senior, Dan's 83 tackles (48 unassisted) & three interceptions helped the speedy & skilled Bombardiers defense keep the highly touted Attleboro offense (37.6 pts/game) on the field. On offense, Warchol ran for 313 yards on 56 carries, while hauling in another 398 yards on 22 receptions (18 yards per catch). He finished the season with 68 total points. Warchol's versatility was on display as Attleboro upset powerhouse Mansfield 46-32. In the game, Warchol had a key interception to keep the Hornets out of the end zone, while he found the end zone twice through the air for the visiting team. The highlight of the Bombardier season came on Thanksgiving Day as Attleboro beat North (22-8) for the first time since 1984. Dan's two touchdown receptions of 26 & 14 yards respectively, helped lead the offense, while he and his teammates executed the Bombardiers defensive schemes to perfection in holding North to under 70 yards of passing and forcing 3 crucial North turnovers.

Dan joins his brother Jaime in the Attleboro Area Football Hall of Fame. He also is credited with Sun Chronicle All Star and EAC All Star selections for both his junior and senior seasons.
