Power-Strength-Size-the prototype Stud Lineman who can single handedly control a game best describes Greg Nazarian. The 6'3" 250 pound tackle teamed with 6'3" 260 pound Hall of Famer Andy Robertson in forming one of the most formidable tandem's to ever play the line for Bishop Feehan. As Coach Paul O'Boy stated: "By virtue of their size and athletic ability, they're two of the best linemen we've ever had here." As a two year starter, he was a catalyst in bringing about back to back Division II Southeastern MA Conference Championships in his junior and senior years. While Nazarian's forte was defense, as an offensive tackle he created huge holes for running backs Jack Riccio, Gerry Bond, and Peter Givens to run through. So productive was this line that the Shamrocks averaged almost 38 points per game for the last seven games of the season. In addition to being an immovable object, Nazarian had extremely quick feet and could run very well for a big man. Accordingly, he led a defense that was so effective that it limited opponents to less than 10 points a game for the season. A two time All Conference and All Sun Chronicle All Star, Nazarian went on to play four years at Boston University where he enjoyed similar success. A true student-athlete, Nazarian continued his studies in law school and is an attorney today. He joins his brother, Dr. David Nazarian, in being inducted into this year's Hall of Fame.
