Biography

Brian-Letourneau.jpg

If you played against Brian Letourneau, a 2016 graduate of Attleboro High School, you knew two things: he was tough, and he was relentless. A captain and two-year starter for Attleboro High School football, Brian made his mark with physical, hard-nosed play that set the standard for the Blue Bombardier’s defense. From his first snap to his last tackle, he played every down with intensity and a refusal to be outworked.

Brian led Attleboro in tackles in both the 2014 and 2015 seasons, finishing each year with over 70 stops, a testament to his ability to dominate and make plays all over the field. Coaches and teammates remember him for his fearlessness, running through blocks, taking on multiple blockers, and always finishing plays. His style of play wasn’t always flashy, but it was effective, gritty, and contagious, inspiring those around him to match his effort.

In his senior season, Brian’s toughness and leadership earned him a spot on the Hockomock League All-Star Team and the title of Defensive Player of the Year. He also captured the Balfour Defensive Player of the Game Trophy after the 2015 Thanksgiving Day victory over North Attleboro, a hard-fought, physical game that perfectly showcased his grit and determination. That game, played in front of his family, friends, and the community, remains one of his proudest high school memories.

Brian’s athleticism carried over to lacrosse and gymnastics, where he also served as captain and earned honors, including Team MVP, and helped the gymnastics team win a state championship in 2014. But it was on the football field where his toughness and competitive drive shined.

After graduating in 2016, Brian went on to the University of New Hampshire, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Systems & Business Analytics. He now applies that same focus, discipline, and determination as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Business Analyst II at Navigant Credit Union.

Brian Letourneau’s induction into the Attleboro Area Hall of Fame honors not only his impressive statistics and awards, but the grit, toughness, and leadership that made him a defensive force and a player teammates could always rely on. He embodies what Blue Pride is all about.
