Mike Germaine has dedicated most of his life to the Bishop Feehan Football program. Mike, a 1977 graduate played for the legendary Coach Paul O’Boy alongside fellow Hall of Famers Bob L’Homme and Rob Lee. He was a tough, hard nosed player who had a knack for being in the right place. His great knowledge of the game would greatly benefit him as a Coach.
Germaine’s impact expanded as he joined the Feehan coaching staff in 2007 and has served as an Assistant Coach for 18 years. He was an integral part of Super Bowl Championships in 2007, 2009 and 2012. He is truly an example of the values of Bishop Feehan High School of Stewardship, Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Mercy and Spirituality. He has positively impacted over 300 Bishop Feehan Football players through the years. His genuine care of the tradition and history of Bishop Feehan Football has been one of his greatest impacts on the program.
In recent years he has been instrumental in the resurgence of Feehan Football on the state level. As Special Teams Coordinator for the past 6 years he has helped Feehan to 5 playoff appearances, 5 league championships, and a State Final Four. Over that span the Shamrocks achieved a 41-19 record. Mike’s attention to detail and innovative Special Teams drills and schemes has been one of the main reasons for the recent success.
There is no one more deserving than Mike Germainefor the honor of being inducted into the Attleboro Area Football Hall of Fame.
